The Next Leg of the Journey

Abstract: Each year BlackRock’s Portfolio Solutions team consults with thousands of advisors from around the industry and collects models through a variety of interactions. We’ve analyzed that collection of models to form insights, make observations and spot trends that we see in the data. In this presentation, we discuss the road ahead, where returns will likely be lower and volatility likely higher and we contemplate what may be needed to create successful client outcomes. We also share the common themes and current positioning that we see in the tens of thousands of models that we’ve collected in the past 12 months.
